Ten Easy Ways to Go Green Today

1. Change your light bulb to a compact fluorescent bulb

2. Unplug things that glow (tv, computer, cell phone charger, printer)

3. Recycle bottles, cans and cardboard

4. Shop at your local farmers market or eat out of your garden

5. Use paper alternatives (cloth diapers, unpaper towels, cloth wipes, mama cloth)

6. Conserve water - take a shorter shower, fix leaky faucets, turn water off while brushing teeth, water plants every other day

7. Switch all of your bills to paperless statements

8. Use reusable shopping totes and produce bags

9. Turn the lights off when you leave a room

10. Set the thermostat at 78 degrees in the summer and 60 degrees in the winter
